Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten our promise. Although we failed to deliver on the Application Essay Generator Beta, we still have better upgrades and ideas in the pipeline.
Although not all of us have been with the blog since its inception, I’m sure all of us bloggers know why we’re involved in CollegeTalk. For you readers out there who may be wondering why we choose to invest our time and effort into Collegetalk writing long articles and lurking in the tagboard, here’s why - It’s more than a blog.
Having been through the agony (and dare we say, the joy) of high school life, what we want is basically to make things better for our juniors, well, for all of you out there who are currently going through this stage of your life. We can’t and we won’t hold your hands every step of the way, but we want to be there to kick you guys off your butts and prompt you all to get started with your applications. We want to be there to make sure that you see the full realm of possibility available to you, to best make your decisions. And eventually, we want to see you all pursuing things that you’re interested in, heading to a school that is perfect for you, and generally doing great things.
But we can’t do it without you guys, and we need to know exactly what it is that you all need. It hasn’t been that long since most of us left school, but already we’re starting to forget, slightly. That, and we’re not you.
